From December 1, 2020, Netrix S.A. in partnership with Sigma S.A. has been implementing a project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund entitled “Mobile multimodal impedance-capacitance tomograph”.
Description and the aim of the project
The aim of the project is to build a mobile impedance-capacitance tomograph for flow analysis and optimization of technological processes. The industrial research and development works will include:
* Konstrukcja urządzenia pomiarowego oparta na tomografii impedancyjnej i pojemnościowej
* Konstrukcja sterownika sprzężenia zwrotnego
* Wzorce numeryczne do modelowania procesów, rozwiązywania problemów odwrotnych dla metod deterministycznych, uczenia maszynowego i głębokiego uczenia
* Moduł analiza danych, optymalizacji, wizualizacji i rekonstrukcja obrazów
* Aplikacja na wbudowanym systemie tomografu
* Aplikacja do konfiguracji, monitorowania i sterowania systemem złożonym.
Produkt projektu będzie odpowiedzią na zidentyfikowane potrzeby docelowych klientów takich jak: * Monitorowanie procesów technologicznych
* Sterowanie i optymalizacja procesów wytwórczych
* Przetwarzanie i analiza danych
* Analiza przestrzenna procesów technologicznych.
* The design of the measuring device is based on impedance and capacitance tomography
* The design of a feedback loop controller
* Numerical patterns for process modeling, inverse problem solving for deterministic methods, machine learning and deep learning
* Data analysis, optimization, visualization, and image reconstruction module
* The built-in tomograph system application
* Application for configuration, monitoring and control of a complex system.
The product of the project will be a response to the identified needs of the target customers, such as:
* Technological processes monitoring
* Control and optimization of manufacturing processes
* Data processing and analysis
* Spatial analysis of technological processes.
The target market for the designed solution includes such industries as food, chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and mining. A key role in the project belongs to the Partner – SIGMA S.A., who will be responsible for the design of the feedback loop controller.
The measurable effect of the project will be the creation of a prototype of a multimodal impedance-capacitance tomograph. The key effect will also be the creation of a complex system allowing to perform measurements on a demonstration model with control and data analysis feature. The final product will be a fully functional demonstration and test solution.
The main goal of the project will be achieved by implementing specific objectives:
- Increasing the human resources potential of the research team by engaging new employees
- Improvement of the company’s competitiveness by creating a professional technical and research infrastructure
- Increase of innovations generated as a result of research and development activity by creating a system prototype along with a prototype of unique intelligent measurement sensors based on the tomographic techniques and artificial intelligence.
Product and result indicators describing intended goals:
- Numbers of enterprises receiving support.
- Number of enterprises receiving subsidies.
- Private investment complementing public support for enterprises.
- Number of enterprises incurring investment outlays for R&D activities
- Number of enterprises cooperating with research centers
- Number of carried out R&D projects
- Investment outlays on the purchase of R&D equipment
- Number of enterprises supported in the scope of conducting R&D works
- Number of patent applications filed
- Revenue from the sale of new or improved products/services.
The project will be implemented in the area covered by The Lubelskie Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020 i.e., in the Lublin Voivodship where the seat and place of implementation of the project of the Beneficiary and the Partner are located.
The value of the Project is 4,238,110.00 PLN
The contribution of European Funds amounts to 2,911,218.75 PLN
