The Industry 4.0 optimization and automation laboratory provides research services in terms of process optimization and minimization of production costs. It enables proper planning, testing, monitoring and control of production. It allows the use of augmented reality – simulating processes, creating 3D models, digital representation of products in the field of digitization of information allowing for the creation of a more effective value chain and more efficient management of production processes at all levels, flexible and intelligent production technologies, modern communication using technologies and the potential of present networks between market participants, systems, and end users.

Server infrastructure
The computing server uses many GPU cores to ensure sufficient data processing speed.
Station with a transport and quality control module
Quality control is carried out on the basis of measurements from sensors. Applying highly specialized measurement techniques ensures a proper amount of data for the optimization and automation of production processes.
Station with industrial robot module
It consists of an industrial robot module with appropriate sensors. Data from sensors allows the robot arm movements to be optimized in real-time and provides information about its current state. The optimization of the robot arm movements and the control automation enable human-machine cooperation.
Station enabling the creation of process and product twins
A digital twin is a digital representation of a real subject or system. This technology allows for constant supervision of the finished product on the basis of sensors in Industry 4.0. The station includes a 3D scanner that allows to create precise three-dimensional models of products, augmented reality glasses, as well as computer equipment with high computing power allowing to create three-dimensional images of digital twins in real-time.
